Fondo Mill

Fondo Mill is an old paper factory. Its history is tied to the village life of Sant Joan les Fonts. We find the origin of the factory in 1723. The most important transformation was in 1841, when Pere Capdevila bought the mill. He reformed the entire factory and introduced the endless paper machine for industrial production.

The Fondo Mill is an important example of the industrial heritage of la Garrotxa.
